Pulsar Shipping Agencies (Private) Limited, the shipping and marine logistics arm of the David Pieris Group has been in operation since 1978. The Company offers complete operations and management services for shipping agency services and ship supply services for oil majors, offshore operators, ship managers, operators and owners around the world.
MANAGER
FINANCE & OPERATION
Responsibilities
- Lead all finance and accounting operations, including monthly and annual financial reporting.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
- Ensure timely billing and receivables collection to support healthy working capital.
- Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and support management with key insights.
- Oversee compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
- Strengthen financial controls, systems and processes.
- Liaise with banks, auditors and the Group Finance team on financial matters.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management or relevant field from a recognised university.
- Professional qualification in CA / ACCA / CIMA.
- Minimum 10 years' experience, with at least 5 years in a senior finance role.
- Experience in shipping, logistics or related service industry is preferred.
- Willingness to support business needs beyond regular hours when required.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
