Position: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Katuwana Industrial Estate – Homagama
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and optimization of all manufacturing equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Design and implement preventive maintenance strategies aimed at minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment lifespan.
- Evaluate production processes to identify and address areas for continuous improvement, enhancing overall productivity.
- Lead and manage engineering projects with purchasing, including the introduction of new products, equipment upgrades, and process innovations.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, set clear timelines, and manage budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related professional qualification from a reputed institution.
- A minimum of ten years experience in maintenance/engineering in manufacturing plant and at least three years in managerial position.
- Hands-on experience in injection molding machines maintenance, pneumatic, chillers, engineering workshop machines is a must.
- Strong knowledge of ISO-9001-2015.
- Applicants must be male and under 50 years of age and working under tight deadline and working environment.
