UHT PLANT ENGINEER
JOB VACANCY
NDC Exports (Pvt) Ltd is a private company established to manufacture and export coconut-based food products for the purpose of growing human health and well-being. We are looking for a dynamic & hardworking individual to be appointed as UHT Plant Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain UHT processing equipment, including sterilizers, homogenizers, and fillers, to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and equipment failures.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions to resolve equipment malfunctions or process deviations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and R&D, to support product development and process optimization initiatives.
- Implement and adhere to safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance plant efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Train and mentor plant personnel on UHT processing techniques, equipment operation, and maintenance best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Food Engineering preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in UHT processing or similar roles within the food and beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of UHT processing principles, equipment, and technologies.
- Proven experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
