Responsibilities
- Provide personalized travel advice and itinerary planning based on clients' preferences and requirements
- Manage bookings for flights, accommodations, car rentals, and other travel services
- Offer exceptional customer service and support before, during, and after travel
- Ensure clients have the necessary travel documents, such as visas, passports, and insurance
- Stay updated on travel trends, destination information, and industry developments
- Address and resolve any travel issues or emergencies promptly and effectively
- Manage payment processing and ensure accurate invoicing and record-keeping
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in travel sales or a related role
- Familiarity with travel booking systems and software (Amadeus)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- In-depth knowledge of air ticketing, travel destinations, airlines, and hotels
- IATA certification or a professional qualification in airline ticketing and reservations is an added advantage
- Excellent verbal communications skill in Sinhala is an added advantage
- Strong customer service skills with a client-oriented approach
