Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized travel advice and itinerary planning based on clients' preferences and requirements
  • Manage bookings for flights, accommodations, car rentals, and other travel services
  • Offer exceptional customer service and support before, during, and after travel
  • Ensure clients have the necessary travel documents, such as visas, passports, and insurance
  • Stay updated on travel trends, destination information, and industry developments
  • Address and resolve any travel issues or emergencies promptly and effectively
  • Manage payment processing and ensure accurate invoicing and record-keeping

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in travel sales or a related role
  • Familiarity with travel booking systems and software (Amadeus)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • In-depth knowledge of air ticketing, travel destinations, airlines, and hotels
  • IATA certification or a professional qualification in airline ticketing and reservations is an added advantage
  • Excellent verbal communications skill in Sinhala is an added advantage
  • Strong customer service skills with a client-oriented approach
