IT EXECUTIVE - WELIGAMA

IT Executive is responsible for the day-to-day support of all IT systems, business systems, office systems, and network system throughout coworking / co-living spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Committed to delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Respond courteously and efficiently to queries and problems from guests and system users.
  • Responsible for smooth functioning and co-ordination of vendors for Guest Internet, PMS, POS, CCTV, Telephone systems and other software vendors.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
  • Responsible for overseeing and handling network configuration, Servers, Workstations, Networking equipment, network switches, WAN/LAN/PABX, email accounts, and also support for the underlying server/desktop infrastructure. General WiFi Setup and troubleshooting and ability of handling the Power Issues, UPS issues, Power Backup etc.
  • Capability of doing Root Cause Analysis on a problem.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure, including CAT5/6 cabling, wireless networks, network switches, WAN/LAN, domain controller, Active Directory, firewall and VPN applications.
  • Understand IP Address, Networking, Topology, Antivirus Setup and troubleshooting, Emails Client Setup and troubleshooting. General Wifi Setup and troubleshooting and ability of handle the Power Issues, UPS issues, Power Backup etc.
  • Implement & maintenance of preventive maintenance process for all IT hardware & Software including antivirus.
  • Manage Disaster Recovery Process and ensure to take regular daily backups.
  • Collaborate with Headquarters IT Team and vendors to ensure the smooth operation of the IT infrastructure.
  • Stay up-to-date with latest technologies & best practices and security risks on a regular basis.
  • Identify and implement solutions to user challenges and concerns associated with the use of personal computer equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain proper inventory of hardware and software licenses.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • BSc in IT, Networking, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • Possess minimum 3 years of industry experience covering the general IT scope including the field of Technical / IT support in the similar capacity.
  • Familiar with Common Operating System Troubleshooting (Apple, Windows, Android).
  • Excellent communication skills in English and willing to learn and adapt to the new technology, any network and topology.
  • Excellent knowledge of Troubleshoot on any IT issues, Network Speed, Network Quality, latency, PING, Traceroute, etc.
  • In hand experience of MikroTik, Ubiquiti, TP-Link will be highly benefited.
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure to meet with tight deadlines under minimum supervision.
