KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily operations of the FGS, ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently, safely, and in line with company QMS.
- Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders, shipping, and distribution of finished goods to meet customer deadlines and quality expectations.
- Monitor and coordinate the loading and unloading processes, ensuring strict quality control, proper documentation, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure effective stock management, implementing stock techniques (FIFO etc.) to minimize waste and optimize warehouse space.
- Maintain an organized and safe storage environment, ensuring products are stored in compliance with safety regulations and are easily accessible when needed.
- Train and develop warehouse staff, fostering a high-performance culture while emphasizing safety practices and continuous improvement.
- Identify and implement operational improvements to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency within the warehouse.
- Collaborate closely with production, sales, and logistics teams to ensure a seamless flow of tire products from manufacturing to the warehouse and, ultimately, to customers.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory or warehouse management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience in SAP would be an added advantage.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
