POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our IT Department as a Junior Executive – System Support. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for internal and external system users, ensuring seamless technical support, timely system maintenance and efficient operational reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide first-line technical assistance to internal departments and external clients.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and follow through with resolution in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure smooth execution of daily operations including Beginning of Day (BOD) and End of Day (EOD) processes.
  • Generate routine system reports and assist in preparing ad hoc reports as requested by business units.
  • Maintain organized records of system-related customer interactions and issue logs.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • BSc Degree or Higher National Diploma in Information Technology or Business.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in listening, problem solving, assertiveness, decision making and negotiation.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a team environment.
  • Excellent Communication skills in Sinhala and English; Tamil is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn new technologies.
