We're looking for a full-time Practice Accountant to work remotely for our UK based firm.
Who you are:
Minimum:
- Qualified/Part qualified CA, ACCA, or other professional qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of working in accounting practices
- Highly organized individual with time management skills
- Solid IT skills, which includes Quickbooks and Xero
- Adapt quickly to new tools and technologies
Preferred:
- Experience working for a UK based accounting practice
- Knowledge of UK payroll system
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare year-end financial statements
- Prepare corporation tax and personal tax returns
- Prepare monthly/quarterly VAT returns
- Provide payroll related services
- Communicate with clients to retrieve necessary documents, and to request clarifications
- Providing support to ensure job completion and meet tight deadlines
