Job Role
- Develop and execute comprehensive risk management frameworks encompassing operational, financial, and compliance risks. Conduct systematic risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities, including emerging risks arising from technological advances, regulatory changes, environmental factors, and market dynamics.
- Support the Data Protection Officer (DPO) in strengthening data privacy frameworks, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations, and enhancing organizational resilience. Lead the development and enforcement of data protection policies, overseeing best practices in governance, cybersecurity, and risk controls.
- Ensure alignment of risk management strategies with industry standards and regulatory mandates, continuously monitoring key risk indicators and delivering strategic insights to senior leadership and stakeholders. Ensure the organization's risk appetite and tolerance levels are clearly defined, communicated, and embedded into decision-making processes across all business functions.
- Design, implement, and continuously enhance internal control mechanisms, fostering resilience against risk exposures. Prepare in-depth analytical reports detailing risk landscapes, mitigation strategies, and compliance adherence.
- Establish and lead a robust Business Continuity Management (BCM) program, ensuring the organization's preparedness for disruptions through rigorous continuity planning, scenario analysis, and periodic testing.
Job Pre-Requisites
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline).
- A master's degree (MBA) is preferred.
- A fully or partly completed professional qualification in Finance, Risk Management, or Business Continuity Management is mandatory.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Risk Management and/or Internal Audit.
- Experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of risk governance, regulatory compliance, and business continuity planning.
