Associate Engineering Manager – IT Security
We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join our IT Security & Compliance team as an Associate Engineering Manager – IT Security. In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening our application and infrastructure security posture by conducting comprehensive security assessments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Job Role:
- Conduct security assessments as per the defined schedule to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Perform SAST and DAST scans using industry-standard tools.
- Conduct Architecture Reviews to assess the security of application, network, and system architecture.
- Identify potential weaknesses, security gaps, and recommend security enhancements.
- Perform mobile application security audits and provide detailed risk assessments.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security testing into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Job Specification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field from a UGC approved university.
- A Master’s degree in Information Security or Cybersecurity is an added advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in application security, including hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, and penetration testing.
- Professional security certifications such as eJPT, CHFI, CEH, Security+ are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, including OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, and NIST standards.
- Solid experience in identifying and mitigating common vulnerabilities and exploits.
- Familiarity with containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
