An exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join one of Australia's leading precast concrete companies.
Responsibilities
- Interpret Architectural, Structural and Steel work drawings with respect to Precast technology.
- Liaise with Builders, Engineers, Architects and other Sub-Contractors and Suppliers to seek information and confirm requirements.
- Follow up the above pricing and information, as and when required.
- Prepare take offs, pricing, cost summaries and quotations.
- Perform related Administration tasks associated with estimating, such as filing, typing, email and printing.
- Assist scheduling resources, ordering materials when required.
- Assist other estimators with technical queries and information sourcing.
Technical Skills
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office products
- Bluebeam
- AutoCAD is an advantage

- Detailed understanding of project engineering and coordination requirements.
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Qualifications or Certification
- Graduate Certificate or Diploma in Building or Construction
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
- Keen Interest in Drafting or Drawing
