Role Overview:
As the Director of Commercial – Maldives you will lead the commercial strategy for our four Maldivian resorts, based out of Colombo. This leadership role will be responsible for overseeing Sales, Marketing, Revenue, and Distribution functions, ensuring strategic alignment with the organisation's overarching goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies to maximise revenue across all resorts.
- Leading the planning and rollout of targeted marketing campaigns to boost brand visibility and attract key market segments.
- Ensuring brand consistency across all communication and marketing platforms.
- Implementing revenue management strategies to optimise pricing, inventory, and distribution channels.
- Conducting data driven analysis of market trends, pricing, and demand.
- Leading, mentoring, and building a dynamic commercial team.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior commercial role within the Maldives hospitality industry.
- A strong network of clients and stakeholders in the Indian Ocean market, especially in the UK, Germany, Europe, China, and the CIS region.
- Proven expertise across sales, marketing, revenue management, and distribution.
- Exceptional leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
