Do you love Sri Lanka and sharing it with others? As a Tour Guide with Intrepid, you get the opportunity to share your country and culture with travellers from all over the world and create unforgettable moments they’ll treasure for a lifetime! You’ll be the face of Intrepid and provide exceptional customer service by hosting and leading tours. You’ll monitor the safety and well-being of your travellers, ultimately ensuring the overall successful operation of each trip.
To be considered, you must have:
- All-Island National Tour Guide License with full rights to work across Sri Lanka
- Excellent communication skills in English and local language, with the ability to communicate with people from varied cultures and backgrounds
- Great availability during our peak seasons to lead our trips
What you need to know:
- We are recruiting for leaders in May to run trips from July 2025 onwards
- This is a freelance-contract position
- With extended hours, lots of walking and activities, it’s important that you are prepared both mentally and physically for the challenge!
- You’ll need the ability to travel and spend time away from home, as our leaders often travel for extensive periods at a time and some tours can span up to four weeks.
