EXECUTIVE-INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING (KATUNAYAKE)
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion to pursue a career in Industrial Engineering Department. The ideal Candidate should be energetic, team player with excellent communication, proactive attitude, ability to be Self-motivated and work independently to achieve tight deadlines.
Role & Responsibility
- Prepare line layouts & operation breakdowns on time.
- Prepare plant machine requirements.
- Prepare operation breakdowns for costing purpose.
- Prepare & issue IE monthly and daily reports on time for management.
- Meet monthly savings targets.
- Do Innovations as per the plant KPI.
- Meet plant plan efficiency & standards hours.
- Check and confirm thread consumption.
- Time Study and Motion study.
- Taking the capacity study of full-line and line balancing for clean-up bottleneck area.
- Follow-up the low performing Operators.
- Operation breakdown, Operation Bulleting / Layout.
- SMV calculation by time study.
- Operator skill Summary.
- Process-wise operator skill development.
- Nonproductive time (Loss Time) record and reduce.
- Hourly Production Monitoring & Achieve the line forecasted output.
- Prepare Man machine report.
- 6S implementation, Training, and Auditing.
- Eliminating excess manpower.
- Work with production floor/operational management to improve efficiencies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Studied up to G.C.E (A/L).
- ICT Literacy.
- GSD knowledge.
- Presentation skills.
- Initiative.
- 3 years relevant field work experience and knowledge in IE function.
- IT literacy and communication skills.
- Knowledge in lean manufacturing.
- Ability to work as a team.
