HR ASSISTANT
The selected candidate would be required to contribute to the smooth functioning of the HR department by providing administrative support and assists in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records maintenance, employee engagement, payroll functions and policy compliance. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Candidate profile
- Assist in recruitment process, including job posting and scheduling interviews.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, personal files, leave records etc.
- Support the onboarding and offboarding process of employees.
- Assist with employee data entry and maintain employee databases.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team with day-to-day tasks.
- Assist in weekly and monthly payroll functions.
- Organizing employee engagement activities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good knowledge of Sri Lankan labor laws and best HR practices.
Qualification
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Human resources, business administration or professional qualification in HRM from a recognized institute.
- 1 year experience in HR Operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word and Email.
- Good communication skills both in English and Sinhala.
- Candidate residing in and around Galle are preferred.
