Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead and manage construction activities related to a water supply infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in civil engineering project execution, with strong knowledge of water-related civil works including pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, and treatment facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and monitor all phases of the water supply construction project.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, local authorities, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Oversee site inspections and resolve any engineering issues on-site.
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation for stakeholders.
- Handle procurement processes for materials and equipment relevant to the project.
- Support contract administration and change order management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction project management, preferably in water supply infrastructure.
- Knowledge of water distribution systems, construction methods, quality management and regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project) and AutoCAD.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Willingness to visit the sites/clients all over the island.
- Capability of identifying and recruiting suitable staff and other resources to achieve prompt completion of the projects.
