JOURNALIST
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Covering press conferences, events, and parliamentary sessions etc.
- Arranging, preparing scripts and questionnaires for programs.
- Maintaining the events diary providing the necessary information.
- Ensure News Anchors or program presenters are available for the news/ programs/ interviews or discussions.
- Attend briefings, event and online sessions and assist to translate, summarize, and expand as per the company requirement.
- Representation of meetings/discussions or such events in the absence of News Manager with prior permission.
- Maintaining good rapport with the contact persons at the ministries, corporate sector and PR agencies.
- Ensure to save footages for future references and inform the library weekly.
- Maintain Facebook and YouTube data stats.
- Maintain the Makeup Room for the News Anchors/ presenters or guests.
- Assist the immediate supervisor to have a smooth functioning of the News Department.
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent communication skills in English – reading, writing and speaking
- Good computer literacy
- Age below 30 Years
- Prior experience as a journalist at a media institute preferred
- Ability to work on shift basis
