HEAD OF FINANCE

  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage financial reporting to senior management and the Board of Directors
  • Monitor cash flow, budgets, and key financial metrics.
  • Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Assist in developing and implementing financial strategies to support business objectives.
  • Provide insights on financial trends and business performance to guide decision-making.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to tax regulations, stock exchange requirements, and corporate governance policies.
  • Work with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
  • Maintain internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Treasury & Funding Management
  • Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure financial stability.
  • Liaise with banks and investors regarding financial matters.
  • Support capital-raising initiatives and investment decisions.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and mentor the finance team to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of financial discipline and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CIMA, or CFA) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Experience in a public quoted company or financial reporting for listed entities is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of financial planning, taxation, and compliance.
