HEAD OF FINANCE
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
- Manage financial reporting to senior management and the Board of Directors
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and key financial metrics.
- Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis
- Assist in developing and implementing financial strategies to support business objectives.
- Provide insights on financial trends and business performance to guide decision-making.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to tax regulations, stock exchange requirements, and corporate governance policies.
- Work with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
- Maintain internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.
- Treasury & Funding Management
- Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure financial stability.
- Liaise with banks and investors regarding financial matters.
- Support capital-raising initiatives and investment decisions.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and mentor the finance team to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Foster a culture of financial discipline and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CIMA, or CFA) is preferred but not mandatory.
- 5+ years of experience in finance, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Experience in a public quoted company or financial reporting for listed entities is an advantage.
- Knowledge of financial planning, taxation, and compliance.
