NURSES & ASSISTANT NURSES – MALE / FEMALE
Responsibilities
- Must provide first aid and emergency care for students and staff.
- Should assess and treat minor injuries and illnesses, referring serious cases to medical professionals.
- Must maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality.
- Should administer prescribed medications and monitor student health conditions.
- Must collaborate with teachers and parents regarding student health concerns.
- Must ensure the college infirmary is well-equipped and maintained.
- Should comply with health and safety regulations and school policies.
Qualification & Experience
- Must be qualified in Nursing (Diploma or Degree in Nursing).
- Candidates must have successfully completed the GCE Ordinary Level & GCE Advanced Level.
- Should have an excellent command of English, Sinhala and Tamil (both spoken and written).
- Must have a minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Should have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be friendly, caring, patient, and able to handle stressful situations.
- Should have the ability to work independently and make quick decisions in emergencies.
- Should have required Qualification to wear the uniform while on duty.
