Accountant
Accountant is responsible for overseeing the finance department of Kings Hospital including overseeing company's financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulations, and providing financial analysis by performing tasks like preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, managing the general ledger, assisting with audits, and advising senior management on financial health and strategic decisions; typically requiring significant experience in accounting practices and proficiency with accounting software. Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard hospital assets, revenue assurance and ensure financial accuracy. Coordinate and liaise with external auditors for annual financial audits. Address any audit findings promptly. Stay updated with relevant tax laws and regulations. Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- Full qualification of CA/ ACCA or passed finalist
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a reputable company or audit firm
- Experience in the healthcare industry and hands-on experience with MS Dynamics ERP would be considered added advantages
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in advance Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
Finance Executive
Handling sales, purchase and general ledger, assisting senior Finance staff members including preparing budgets, financial statements, liaising with internal and external auditors, handling accruals and prepayments, reconciling ledger accounts and ensuring the accuracy of financial records, sorting financial documents and posting them to FIS, preparing tax schedules and timely submitting returns, preparations by annual and monthly records.
Required qualifications
- Possess a Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Partly qualified in CIMA / ACCA / ICASL or fully qualified HNDA
- Minimum 3 years’ experience (Audit firm or Commercial experience in a reputed organization)
- Hospital experience will be an advantage
