JOB VACANCY FOR SUPERVISOR POST – ECO PLANTATIONS LANKA(PVT)LTD
COMPANY PROFILE:
We are a well established group of companies involved in aquaculture, aquarium fish breeding and exotic bird breeding, based in the Biyagama area. Our company requires responsible, energetic staff members for the following listed job.
JOB PROFILE:
Post of supervisor. This is a total field job that requires you to work on site. Those who apply should be team players who are self motivated, who are ready to work hard on the field, eager to learn and to perform under competitive and demanding atmosphere.
All applicants will go through a 1 to 3 month training period where trainees will be given tasks to get firsthand experience on their job.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
THIS IS A FIELD JOB WHICH REQUIRES ON SITE
- Manage and assist in the management of birds and fish
- Supervise and instruct staff on all related matters on husbandry of live birds and fish
- Maintaining related documents, stocks and records
- Coordinate with staff members to gain the best productivity
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
- Male or Female – 18 to 40 years
- GCE A/L or higher qualification
- Job experience as a supervisor in a related field of aqua culture and exotic birds will be an added qualification. Such an applicant will be evaluated for direct supervisor appointments with a starting salary of Rs 45,000
- Ability to work on weekends and public holidays
- Ability to stay in shared quarters with other supervisors (Female and male quarters are set separately)
- Ability to perform under pressure and high level of dedication
- Ability to work extended hours
OFFERED FACILITIES AND SALARY:
- Salary during training period (first 1 - 3 months) will be Rs. 30,000
- After completing 1 - 3 month training period, successful trainees will be appointed as supervisors with a salary of Rs 45,000
- Free food and accommodation will be provided
- Free uniforms will be provided
- 4 holidays per month
- Faster promotions and salary increments will be given based on performance.
