ING is a reputed company, manufacturing High technical garments, located in the Dehiwala is seeking for suitably qualified individuals for the below vacancy.
Garment Pattern Technologist / Fashion Designer
Qualification and experience:
- A diploma in the apparel industry or a certificate in HND/HNC, OR a degree/diploma in fashion or patterns.
- Generally, handle any pattern-making software.
- A fair of patterns that have reduced consumption.
- Sound knowledge of Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop, doing Vector files & Printing artworks.
Job Role:
- Participate in a development meeting to decide on the sample that is to be developed.
- Doing Vector files & Printing artworks.
- Develop a pattern based on customer sketches, whilst engaging in the pattern grading and marker making process.
- Liaise with merchandisers in the event measurement adjustment.
- Coordinating with CAD/ CAM.
- Assist in finalizing patterns for bulk production.
- Doing Artwork.

- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong negotiation skills
Salary negotiable depending on qualification and experience.
