The Opportunity
Our company is actively recruiting for a number of Australian firms who are looking to bolster their external audit teams, using remote auditors based in Sri Lanka. The location would be a mix of in our offices in Colombo or working from home.
Our clients are Australian accounting firms, who have experienced significant growth and are in need of experienced external auditors, Australia wide.
This role would be working for an Australian business, reporting to Australian managers and will provide key overseas experience within the Australian accounting market.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the external audit of a range of clients from planning through to finalization.
- Manage, and coach, junior staff.
- Report to Australian managers on daily and weekly basis.
- Scope analytic reviews.
- Detailed testing.
- Populate sampling workbooks.
- Draft audit reports.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ audit experience
- CA/CPA qualified.
- Bachelor of Accounting, Commerce, Finance or Business (or similar).
- Previous external audit experience is critical - preferably from a Big 4 firm.
- Excellent English skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
Remuneration
LKR 200,000 plus EPF plus ETF, per month.
