Job Description

Job Role:

  • Focus on the quality aspect of technical decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct technical training sessions for underwriting and sales teams.
  • Contribute to product development by working on product specifications, policy conditions and proposal forms.
  • Confirm alignment with established operational processes.
  • Handle responses to regulators, Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), Financial Crime and Counter Terrorism Division (FCCID) and ombudsman.
  • Address matters referred to Life Operations.
  • Ensure technical compliance with regulatory requirements for new processes.
  • Participate in system projects as a representative from the Life Technical Division.

Job Pre-Requisites:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred first class or second upper) in insurance stream.
  • Two years of experience in the field of life insurance will be considered.
  • Must be competent with MI, reporting and data analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
