All garments are manufactured within Grace Lanka Apparels (Pvt) Ltd. situated in Noel Mendis Mawatha, Modarawila Industrial Zone, Panadura and is comprehensively managed by our own professional teams.
Job Profile: Factory Nurse
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely medical attention and first aid to factory staff in case of illness or injury.
- Maintain and manage the factory's medical center, ensuring availability of necessary equipment and supplies.
- Monitor the general health and hygiene of employees; maintain accurate medical records.
- Conduct regular health awareness and wellness programs for factory staff, including sessions on hygiene, nutrition, occupational health hazards, and disease prevention.
- Liaise with external healthcare providers and coordinate emergency medical services when required.
- Support occupational health and safety initiatives in collaboration with the HR and Safety departments.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and factory safety standards.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience in an apparel manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Nursing from a recognized nurse training institution.
- Age below 45 years.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act efficiently in emergency situations.
- Familiarity with workplace health and safety standards.
- Capability to educate and counsel employees on health-related topics.
- Competency in maintaining medical records and confidentiality.
