CYBERSECURITY - FRAUD PROTECTION

FOR OUR CLIENT!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor systems and transactions to detect potential fraud activities using tools like SIEM, fraud detection platforms, and behavior analytics.
  • Investigate suspicious activities, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Work closely with cybersecurity, compliance, and risk teams to develop and refine anti-fraud policies and procedures.
  • Develop and fine-tune detection rules, thresholds, and alerts to reduce false positives and identify real threats.
  • Respond to real-time fraud incidents, coordinate response efforts, and document findings.
  • Utilize machine learning and pattern recognition tools to improve fraud detection efficiency.
  • Provide insights and reporting to leadership on fraud trends, metrics, and incidents.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Cybersecurity.
  • 3–7 years of experience in fraud prevention, detection, or cybersecurity roles.
  • Strong knowledge of cyber fraud types such as phishing, identity theft, synthetic identity, ATO, insider threats, etc.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Splunk, QRadar, Actimize, ThreatMetrix, SAS Fraud Management, etc.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals: encryption, authentication, firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, etc.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (SOC, compliance, legal, risk, etc.)
  • Knowledge of data privacy laws and regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and investigative skills.
  • Cybersecurity certifications would be a plus point.
