Metshu Exports (Pvt) Ltd is one of the largest and leading organic food product manufacturers and exporters in Sri Lanka. We are currently exporting our products to in excess of 35 countries around the world, including some world’s largest supermarket chains. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Shipping Executive to join our team. The position is full-time and offers competitive salary and benefits.
Post of Senior Shipping Executive
- Diploma or any professional qualification in shipping / logistics management.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in shipping / logistics management.
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- A hand on experience in Import / Export shipping operations preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of international trade terms, custom procedures and shipping documentation.
- Excellent coordination, negotiation, communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Motivational and interpersonal skills & ability to establish good working relations with staff and management.
- Prepared to work long hours, display a sense of commitment to the job & able to work under pressure.
- A good team player with flexibility & adaptability to work in a different environment.
- Preferred candidates who are living close to the Pannala / Makandura / Kuliyapitiya / Dankotuwa / Girulla area.
