Overview of the role
The Senior Recovery Executive will support the recovery team in managing overdue accounts and ensuring timely collections. This role involves interacting with clients to negotiate payments, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with various recovery processes.
What you will do
- Monitor and manage the Collection Efficiency Ratio for each age category to ensure it meets budgeted targets.
- Analyze and address factors contributing to new bad debt incidents.
- Monitor and follow up on impairment provisioning to ensure compliance with IFRS 9 requirements.
- Prepare and present reports on collection efficiency and bad debt provisioning to senior management.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of collection activities.
- Lead and coordinate with the collections team to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
What equips you for the role
- Degree or Diploma with three years of working experience in relevant field.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Previous experience in collections, finance, or customer service is advantageous.
- Teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office Package (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint).
- Valid driving license.
