SENIOR DEVELOPMENT MERCHANDISER
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Development Merchandiser to join our Sales and Merchandising Department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the product development process, from concept to delivery, ensuring that our offerings meet market demands and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design, production, and sales teams to develop and launch new fabric collections.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Manage product timelines, ensuring timely delivery of samples and final products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Analyze sales data and provide insights to improve product offerings and merchandising strategies.
- Oversee the quality control process to ensure that products meet established standards.
- Follow up & achieve the timeline lines of Selection samples & first bulk sample timelines.
- Manage seasonal pricing within the allocated timeline & negotiating best possible gain for the company.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Fashion Design, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in merchandising or product development within the textile or apparel industry.
- Strong understanding of fabric properties, production processes, and market trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in relevant software and tools for merchandising and product development.
