ACCOUNTS ASSISTANTS

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Handle accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
  • Manage cash transactions and maintain accurate records of daily receipts and payments.
  • Maintain and manage financial records, ensuring they are accurate and comply with regulatory standards.
  • Perform debtor reconciliation to ensure all accounts are accurately balanced.
  • Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.

Personal Profile

  • Part qualification CA/AAT or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, including journal entries.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role will be considered an added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
