Quality Assurance Intern
Responsibilities:
- Participate in brainstorming and requirement-gathering meetings.
- Design test scenarios to ensure 100% coverage of requirements; Prepare test cases to test the identified scenarios.
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases in JIRA.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and related tools/frameworks.
- Identify, analyse, and report bugs based on requirements.
- Participate in testing such as Functional (smoke, integration, system, acceptance, re-testing, regression) and Non-Functional testing (compatibility, security, and performance).
- Participate in code reviews to ensure that all code is testable.
- Coordinate quality and testing-related activities within the team.
- Assist with ongoing testing from development to production.
Requirements:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Software Engineering/IT from a recognised university.
- Good knowledge of agile development processes.
- Ability to write, execute, and maintain automation scripts in Java.
- Knowledge in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver or Appium.
- Basic knowledge of test automation frameworks such as TestNG, BDD, and Cucumber is desirable.
- Basic understanding of API testing and tools.
- Thinking outside the box, strong analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong team player and able to work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good documentation and presentation skills.
