Position Overview: Senior Tour Executive

The Senior Tour Executive will play a key role in our luxury travel operations in Sri Lanka. The role focuses on creating bespoke itineraries, working closely with guests, and providing high-touch service from the planning stage through to post-travel follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tailor-Made Itineraries: Customize each itinerary based on guests' interests and preferences, ensuring a unique and memorable experience.
  • Rapid Response: Respond to inquiries quickly, confirming services and maintaining clear communication with guests and agents.
  • Guest Delight: Prioritize exceptional guest service, ensuring that each visitor's experience exceeds expectations.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture relationships with international travel agents, ensuring repeat business and delivering seamless experiences.
  • Travel Planning: Leverage in-depth knowledge of Sri Lanka to plan and execute well-rounded luxury travel experiences.
  • Market Insight: Understand guest expectations, preferences, and market dynamics to attract international visitors to Sri Lanka.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a team to meet the company’s standards, revenue goals, and guest satisfaction.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Delivering on agreed revenue targets for the touring department
  • Achieving guest satisfaction and delight
  • Maintaining profitable margins on tours

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, with a focus on luxury travel.
  • Knowledge: Extensive travel experience within Sri Lanka and a deep understanding of the local luxury travel market.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills for managing relationships with agents and service providers
    • Ability to work independently and within team structures
    • A positive attitude and ability to collaborate with a global team of professionals
  • Desired Qualifications:
    • Proven track record in luxury travel, with at least 2 years of touring experience
    • Applicable Degree or Diploma in tourism, hospitality, or related field
    • Experience working in or managing luxury travel itineraries
