We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Asst. Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Executive to join our Ready-Mix Concrete team in Colombo.

Job Role:

The selected candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, driving sales, managing client relationships, supporting clients with technical expertise, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This role requires close collaboration with production, logistics, and quality assurance teams to ensure efficient service delivery.

The person we are looking for must possess:

  • B.Sc./NDT/HND in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the construction industry.
  • A qualification in marketing would be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
  • Proficiency in working within a computerized business environment.
  • Strong team player capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Male candidates below 35 years of age are preferred.

Asst. Sales Engineer/Technical Sales Executive is required to:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet company goals.
  • Identify and connect with potential customers in the construction and infrastructure sectors.
  • Provide technical support on product applications and benefits to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of products.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers.
