We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our team in the above capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the daily operations of our production and delivery processes.
Operations Officer (Male)
RMC Operations – Peliyagoda
The right candidate should have:
- G.C.E. A/L qualification.
- Prior experience in a similar role will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and logistics/operations-related software.
- Strong leadership qualities to manage and guide operational teams.
- Ability to make sound decisions, delegate tasks effectively, and motivate team members.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Age below 45 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with planning and production teams to plan and schedule concrete supplies based on customer requirements and forecasts.
- Coordinate and plan the transportation of ready-mixed concrete to various construction sites.
- Liaise with the sales team to address customer delivery concerns and ensure satisfaction.
- Optimize delivery routes and schedules for improved efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Communicate with customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Ensure proper maintenance and readiness of delivery vehicles.
- Work with the quality assurance team to promptly address any product-related concerns.
- Improve production processes to reduce downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date records of production output and delivery schedules.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operational flow while adhering to safety and quality standards.
