Trade Compliance Analyst

Komar Distribution team is seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst to support the Trade Compliance team by assisting with entry data input, tracking shipment progress, and maintaining up-to-date records on daily worksheets.

You are required to work remotely on USA hours and must be flexible with your working hours.

What you need to have:

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and documentation.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and other office applications.
  • Familiar with Blue Cherry, ACS, and comfortable with Tracking websites. (These items can be taught if necessary)
  • Prior experience with customs documents (e.g., commercial invoices, arrival notices, BOLs) is an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Commitment to work long hours to attend late hour meetings
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize critical issues
  • Self-starter, resourceful, team player
  • Must work well independently in a busy environment as well as with others

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and track estimated time of arrival (ETA) for international shipments for specific shipments as assigned to support timely customs entry processing.
  • Maintain and update internal spreadsheets to reflect current customs entry status and shipment movement.
  • Review arrival notices for accuracy and compare details with information in the ABI system.
  • Review Commercial invoices, packing lists
  • Verify that the correct shipments are received in the ABI tool and confirm that the received data aligns with the actual shipment.
  • Cross-check shipment documentation against ABI data to ensure timely and accurate entry processing.
  • Key ISF entry data as necessary
  • Proactively manage tasks ahead of deadlines to maintain accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
  • Take on additional tasks as assigned to encourage learning, growth, and professional development.
