Account Assistant - (Based in Matara)
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our dynamic team, based in Matara. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in an audit firm, where they developed strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or part or fully qualified in AAT/Foundation level in CA
- At least 1 year of previous experience as an Account Assistant or in a similar role. Those with experience in an audit firm are definitely encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong understanding of audit procedures, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Preference will be given to candidates from Matara.
