DIRECTOR SALES & TRADE MARKETING (COLOMBO)

FOR OUR CLIENT!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide strong insights on strategic & annual planning, and growth opportunities considering both long-term and mid-term plans
  • Work closely with the marketing team on the integrated commercial plan
  • Initiate a strong Route to Consumer (RtC) to ensure distributor/partner management, channel strategy development, and investment in the priority channels
  • Identify optimal solutions to simplify existing capability
  • Lead in identifying digitization, and digital transformation opportunities to enhance commercial competitiveness and maximize RTC opportunities in line with SP and AP
  • Build capability to improve value share in the category while acting as the catalyst in embedding revenue management best practices
  • Embed channel focus via dedicated sales structures and use global customer centricity framework to win with customers in a highly regulated market

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Degree or MBA
  • 10 to 12 years of commercial experience having worked in Sales and Trade marketing functions
  • Experience of different FMCG companies. Strong commercial acumen English language essential
  • Fluent in English & Sinhala (Tamil would be an added advantage)
  • Knowledge on highly regulated market advertising, promotions and logistics
  • Expertise and proven track records of revenue generation
