VACANCY AT DINLANKA LOGISTICS (PVT) LTD
POST OF ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE
We are a freight forwarding / Logistics company partnering with Local & overseas stakeholders. We are located in Colombo 03. For more information about our services please visit www.dinlanka.com.
We are looking for an experienced Individual to be recruited immediately. This Person will report to Head of Finance and will actively engage in providing Financial analytical & Decision making support, whilst partnering in day to day operational activities.
JOB ROLE
- Preparation and presentation of Management accounts with robust financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Ensure that statutory requirements are followed and returns submitted on time.
- Review payment processes and introduce effective financial controls.
- Manage overall company cash flow and follow up on timely recovery of dues.
- Preparation of Statutory accounts and timely submission of audited accounts.
- Ensure accuracy of financial transactions and balance sheet accounts are reconciled.
- Maintain good business relationships with external stakeholders.
- Work with Tax Consultant on Tax matters.
- Preparation of Payroll of the company and payment of Statutory levies.
- Be in charge of Office Administration matters.
- Financial Analysis on Potential business initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Part qualification from a recognized Accounting Body.
- 3 Years of auditing Experience.
- 3 years working experience in a similar Position.
SKILLS
- Strong experience in Profit & Loss Analysis and ability to devise creative solutions to issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages (Excel & Word is a must).
- Sound knowledge in latest application of accounting Principles & Taxation.
- Strong Verbal & Written Communication skill (It is a must).
- Positive work attitude with flexible working hours.
- Ability and confidence in handling Internal & External Stakeholders directly and independently.
