ACCOUNTANT

Lanka Shipping & Logistics (Pvt) Ltd is a company of wide expertise and international reputation and our team comprises of energetic and experienced professionals with varying expertise in the industry. We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our dynamic team as an Accountant.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
- Finalizing month-end accounts and passing journal entries to the system
- Conducting intercompany reconciliations and checking bank reconciliations
- Analyzing cost reconciliations items and conducting balance sheet
- Budgeting and monthly monitoring of performance
- Preparation of bimonthly principal statements of account (SOAS) and liaising with principals for finance-related matters
- Treasury management and coordination with banks, tax consultants, and external parties
- Experience in handling statutory requirements (VAT, Income Tax, WHT etc)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- CPA, ACCA or similar certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office
