The Wind Castle Hotel is a 8-room luxury boutique hotel situated in Shanthiapura, Nuwara-Eliya. We are looking for service-oriented individuals with a passion for excellence and the drive to deliver highest standard of customer satisfaction to our guests, to join our team of hospitality professionals.
HOTEL MANAGER
Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing daily operations of the hotel including front desk, housekeeping maintenance and admin duties.
- Ensure highest standard of cleanliness is maintained throughout the property.
- Knowledge of Food and beverage and basic accounting will be an advantage.
- Ensure quality control and customer satisfaction in dining services.
- Liaising with hotel guests in a professional manner.
- Manage and track hotel inventory.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures.
- Train and manage hotel staff, address guest complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Inculcate an outstanding service culture among all team members.
- Ensure regular communication and ongoing coordination with team members providing direction, ensure highest level of performance and service delivery.
- Ensure the hotel meets health, safety, and legal requirements.
- Maintain proper licensing and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years proven experience as hotel manager or relevant role.
- Good command of English language both written and verbal is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite and preferably in using Scienter System.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise and multi-task.
- Male candidates from Nuwara Eliya preferred.
