Position Overview:
The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for parents, students, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English, Sinhala, and Tamil, and capable of providing a welcoming and supportive front-office experience while efficiently managing administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist parents, students, visitors, and staff with a courteous and professional manner.
- Answer and manage phone calls and inquiries.
- Handle student and parent inquiries at the front desk.
- Support administrative staff with filing, data entry, and documentation.
- Manage appointment scheduling and visitor logs.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Coordinate deliveries, mail, and messages.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- G.C.E. A/L qualification.
- Diploma in Secretarial or Administrative Studies (or a related qualification).
- Proven fluency in English, Sinhala, and Tamil.
- Prior experience in a school or similar administrative/receptionist role is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
