PROJECT MANAGER - WATER DIVISION

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, management, and execution of water projects—including pipe laying and M&E installations—ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and technical excellence.
- Conduct site assessments and provide strategic direction to engineers for effective project planning and optimal resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure alignment with project goals and resolve technical or operational issues promptly.
- Supervise and guide on-site teams, ensuring efficient execution, workforce optimization, and strict adherence to project schedules.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and approval process for method statements, technical drawings, and material submittals.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable engineering standards, safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality benchmarks.
- Monitor project milestones, maintain comprehensive documentation, and deliver progress reports to both management and clients.
- Manage project cash flow, including coordination with quantity surveyors for advance payments and IPAs, while ensuring timely client approvals and collections.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a related discipline).
- Minimum 8 – 10 years of experience in managing water supply and waste water treatment projects.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and subcontractors.
- Strong understanding of water project design, planning, site implementation, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in project planning tools, MS Project/Primavera, and reporting systems.
- Experience handling project cash flows, progress billings, and contractual documentation.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and adapt to changing project requirements.
