Position : Quality Assurance Manager
Location : Waguruwela, Welpalla, 60206 Pannala, North Western Province, Sri Lanka
Experience: 08 years proven experience (At least 3 years in similar role)
Industry : Coconut related products manufacturing
Job type: Full - Time
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Implementing critical & non-critical quality criteria & monitoring process control, in-line, final release inspections from product value chain
- Handling in-process non-conformities, concessions & customer complaints by implementing effective CAPs
- Coordinating internal audits according to management system requirement and conducting vendor evaluation audits to upstream the quality level of RM
- Conducting annual Quality Management Review
- Preparing Regulatory related information for Global-QA & customers
- Conducting training for non-QA employee & People development
- Maintaining the annual departmental budget
- Monitoring & controlling manufacturing process against with both national & international standards
- Investigating customer complaint & non-conformance issues
- Statistical data analyzing for manufacturing process improvement
- Planning & Guiding Subordinates to achieve the company set objectives
- Exposure to ISO22000:2018, HALAL, IFS/ BRC, Organic certification
- The ability to handle general administrative functions of the QA department will be beneficial and willingness to work extended hours if necessary
- Responsible for developing the required SOPs/ implemented/ adhere by Quality department
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in food science / agriculture / food technology / microbiology or related discipline preferred
- A master’s degree in food science or food technology is preferred but not mandatory
- Possess good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Well experience in laboratory handling & lab data analysis
