Quality Assurance Assistant – Dankotuwa (Permanent – Male Only)
Location
146, Nattandiya Road, Dankotuwa, Sri Lanka
Job Description
- Implement Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) alongside the Senior Quality Manager/Consultant. Activities include, but are not limited to:
- Understanding the ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System (FSMS) standard; implementing, monitoring, verifying, and validating the FSMS;
- Conducting quality training sessions, holding food safety team meetings, and reviewing the FSMS;
- Evaluating hygiene factors;
- Tracking traceability;
- Issuing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs);
- Assist the Senior Quality Manager/Consultant in handling annual CDA and Organic audits;
- Assist the Senior Quality Manager/Consultant in handling annual SMETA, Kosher, and Halal audits;
- Conduct online inspections of various processing lines;
- Oversee shipment quality checklists.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Gmail;
- Background in science with a degree or diploma;
- Positive attitude with a bias toward action;
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and Sinhala.
