ROLE OVERVIEW

The Technical Support Specialist – L1 provides first-line support by troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining systems, and assisting users. This role is essential in ensuring smooth IT operations and delivering a high-quality support experience to clients across Nova Corp’s services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues (e.g., Microsoft 365, hardware, connectivity)
  • Deliver customer support via phone, email, or chat.
  • Log and manage support tickets accurately
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level teams when needed.
  • Monitor systems to proactively detect and address issues.
  • Assist users with basic software/system training
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks (updates, backups, checks)

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar technical support role
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
  • Basic knowledge of OS (Windows, macOS, Linux), Microsoft 365, Azure, and networking
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Certifications like CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Fundamentals are a plus
