IE Executive
Location- Mahiyanganaya Factory
We are looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for pursuing a career in the apparel industry. The ideal candidate should be an energetic, team player with excellent communication, a proactive attitude, and the ability to be self-motivated and work independently to achieve tight deadlines.
Job Role
- Calculate Standard Minute Values (SMV) to measure production time and ensure efficient workflows.
- Apply the General Sewing Data (GSD) method to determine standard times for sewing operations and optimize production efficiency.
- Develop and implement effective production plans to meet manufacturing targets, ensuring the smooth flow of operations.
- Conduct work study activities to analyze and improve production processes, enhancing productivity and reducing waste.
- Apply knowledge and expertise in related product processes to enhance production techniques and improve product quality.
- Contribute to quality management initiatives by ensuring processes meet quality standards and contribute to overall product quality.
- Manage capacity sourcing to ensure resources are allocated efficiently and meet production demands.
- Apply basic sustainability principles and support material requirement (MR) planning to promote environmentally and resource-efficient practices.
Individual Profile
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Age below 40 years.
- Diploma in production/manufacturing/industrial engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- Preference for candidates with lean manufacturing exposure.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-based environment.
- Ability to lead and make rational decisions in a fast-paced environment.
