Qualifications – NCT, NVQ Level 4 in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification is essential.
Experience – Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Quantity Surveying within the construction industry.
Measurement & Documentation – Ability to take accurate measurements, prepare Daily Running Payments (DRP), and maintain all QS-related documentation.
Technical Skills – Strong attention to detail, with the ability to read complex architectural/structural drawings and prepare shop drawings using AutoCAD.
Site Collaboration – Work closely with the Site Manager and support site operations through daily reporting and on-ground coordination.
Stock & Fund Management – Responsible for checking stock levels, tracking material usage, and managing project petty cash/funds.
Leadership & Management – Demonstrated leadership and basic team management capabilities to support smoother site workflow.
Numerical Proficiency – Strong numerical ability, budgeting awareness, and BOQ understanding to ensure accurate costing and estimations.
Industry Knowledge – A proven track record with solid knowledge of construction processes, timelines, and contractor coordination.
Work Ethic – Must be reliable, able to multitask, and perform under pressure in a dynamic site environment.
