We have emerged as a well-established and leading Group of companies engaged in the apparel industry and we cater to the most prestigious high end Customers in USA & Europe. We are looking for dedicated and committed person to fill in the vacancies for the position of a Pattern Maker in our Sample Room in Colombo Head Office.
PATTERN MAKER
The person we have in mind for this position should possess a sound education with minimum 05 years’ experience in a similar capacity and have a thorough knowledge of Pants / bottoms for international buyers such as Tommy/ Ck / Gap / BR / eddie bauer / micheal kors ...ETC.all. Those who possess qualifications from a recognized institution catering to the apparel trade and knowledge of Pattern developing and grading in OPTITEX/TUKA will have a definite advantage.
- Candidate should have at least 5 years of extensive experience in pattern making in a reputed company.
- Possess CITI/BRANDIX/ SLITA / GIMI qualifications in pattern making and grading.
- Hands on experience in 2D patterns in OPTITEX/TUKA systems.
- Should have worked with international buyers such as BR/GAP/TOMMY/CK.
- Good command of English to communicate with buyers/techs.
- Thorough knowledge on garment construction is a pre-requisite.
He/She should also possess an excellent knowledge of English and be able to communicate independently with Buyers and Buying office.
