The Job:
- We are seeking a talented Senior Designer – Intimates to join our team.
- You will be responsible for creating seasonal collections, leading the design process from concept to final product, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure top-quality design, fit, and production standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design for intimates collections (bras, panties, shapewear, loungewear).
- Develop trend-driven, consumer-focused designs aligned with market needs.
- Create technical sketches, tech packs, and specifications for product development.
- Collaborate with product development, production, and sourcing teams for quality execution.
- Ensure designs align with product positioning and market trends through merchandising collaboration.
- Analyze fabrics, trims, and patterns to enhance design aesthetics and functionality.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and consumer preferences.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering team development.
- Manage multiple projects, meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in intimate apparel design, with 2+ years in a senior role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing innovative and detailed intimate apparel designs.
- Expertise in fabric selection, pattern-making, and garment construction for intimates.
- Knowledge of fit, sizing, and grading for intimates.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
