As part of our AI & Data team of the Technology Consulting practice you will work with multi-disciplinary teams to support clients in exploring, visualizing and analysing data to generate and present valuable insights. You will be given the opportunity to work and take responsibility in challenging engagements and gaining exposure across various sectors.
Profile of Candidate for Business Intelligence Engineer (Microsoft Power BI)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- 2+ Year experience as a BI Engineer with Proven experience on deploying and optimizing large datasets and Proficiency in SQL with other data querying languages.
- Experience in Data modelling (ER models) primarily for data warehousing purposes, with emphasis on dimensional schemas. Ideally, you must have gone through at least two full life cycle implementation.
- Ability to propose solutions by recalling best practices learned from Microsoft documentation, white papers and community publications.
- Sound knowledge of the software development life-cycle and experience with Git.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including DAX and the Power Query formula language (M-language).
- Advanced understanding of data modelling, data warehousing and ETL techniques.
- Designed, developed and maintained Power BI reports (including paginated reports) and dashboards to support business decision-making processes.
- Designed, developed and Implemented Power BI data models for complex and large-scale enterprise environments.
- Proven experience with deploying and optimizing large datasets and Proficiency in Microsoft Power Apps and other data querying languages.
- Strong collaboration, analytical, interpersonal and communication abilities with Advanced Excel capabilities.
- Cloud domain experience with focus on Microsoft Azure / Microsoft Azure Stack solutions and Experience building on Azure using Databricks, ADF will be an added advantage.
